Five projects presented by IRMP researchers were selected as part of UCLouvain's 2019 FSR call for doctoral scholarships. It is an extremely high success rate in line with the overall success of the Institute's researchers in recent years. Congratulations to the promoters of the selected projects: E. Cortina and A. Giammanco, C. Degrande, F. Maltoni, H. Olbermann and Ph. Ruelle.
And the professors emeriti of the institute with a status of scientific collaborators continue to be very active in research: in the context of his research, prof. Y. Felix will receive at the IRMP two Spanish collaborators, a post doctoral researcher and a doctoral student, for relatively long periods. Prof. P. Van Moerbeke recently received a 5-year grant from the prestigious Simons Foundation for his research project "Critical Phenomena in Large Stochastic Models".
