Climate change and its adverse effects continue to be very significant. The experts put forward that although there is a noteworthy increase in the climate-related policies, the current strategies fall far short to avoid dangerous warming. Therefore, people are encouraged to seek their rights before the courts. I will introduce the current climate cases that directly challenge global climate change policies. I will scrutinize the following issues: What are the main climate claims of people? What are their differences in terms of legal strategies? What are the chances of their success and issues of principle (e.g. separation of powers, causation…)
