DELPHES 3 article in the INSPIRE's top 40 most cited articles during 2019

The article entitled "DELPHES 3: a modular framework for fast simulation of a generic collider experiment" was written and published by a group of CP3 researchers in 2014 [1]. In 2020, after several years of steady progress in the number of citations, this article appears for the first time in the INSPIRE's top 40 of the most cited articles during 2019 [2].

With the MadGraph article entitled "The automated computation of tree-level and next-to-leading order differential cross sections, and their matching to parton shower simulations" [3] and 2 articles from the CMS collaboration entitled "The CMS Experiment at the CERN LHC" [4] and "Observation of a New Boson at a Mass of 125 GeV with the CMS Experiment at the LHC" [5], CP3 researches co-authored 4 of the INSPIRE's top 40 most cited articles during 2019.

All these articles are mentioned in the recent INSPIRE Topcites 2019 Edition Review by Heath O'Connell and Michael Peskin [6].

The review mentions that it is possible to cite software using DOI generated by Zenodo [7]. The DELPHES 3 software repository hosted on GitHub now has its DOI [8].
