A UCLouvain-Entreprendre.wapi chair in consumer behaviour to boost the local economy

"UCLouvain and the Economic Stimulation Agency of Picardy Wallonia, Entreprendre.wapi, have joined forces to create, with the support of the Lemay Fund, a university chair in consumer behaviour in the agro-food sector. The chair's activities will focus on scientific research, continuing training for managers of companies in the sector and raising awareness among students. It will give a boost to the achievement of the objectives of Entreprendre.wapi, whose actions aim to perpetuate the strategic sectors of the local economy, and in particular the agro-food sector and sustainable food (...).

Funded by Entreprendre.wapi with the support of the Lemay Fund and led by the vice-rector in Hainaut of UCLouvain, Professor Alain Vas, the chair will be based in Picardy Wallonia. It will start its activities in September 2021 under the direction of Karine Charry, Professor of Marketing at the Louvain School of Management and specializing in consumer behaviour, particularly in the food sector, responsible and sustainable consumption (...)."
