Our Dean, Prof. Per Agrell, is also an avid researcher and permanent member of the Center of Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) in LIDAM. Frequently publishing on energy network management and regulation, he is in close contact with national regulatory authorities across Europe. Prof. Agrell was recently awarded a grant of 300,000 euros for the period 2021-2023 in the project SOCCER (SOCio-économie des Communautés d’Energie Renouvelable) with eight partners. CORE will be responsable for a subproject on economic inclusion of users in local energy communities, leading to insights on how network regulation can better promote renouvelables in housing projects.
