ISBA collaborates with the teaching unit Louvain School of Statistics, Biostatistics and Actuarial Sciences (LSBA) and the technological platform Statistical Methodology and Computing Support (SMCS).

The INSTITUTE of STATISTICS, BIOSTATISTICS and ACTUARIAL SCIENCES (ISBA)
is seeking to fill two permanent full-time professorships (lecturer/assistant professor or associate professor) in statistics for the start of the academic year 2025/26.
We are looking for two new colleagues, ideally (but not exclusively so) to complete the Institute’s expertise in
• high-dimensional spatial-temporal statistics
or
• statistical and Bayesian learning
