The full list of countries eligible for a central budget contribution includes all low and medium human development index countries as well as some additional Ares partner countries:

  • Countries ranked in the low human development index category, according to the 2020 ranking:

Afghanistan, Bénin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Érythrée, Éthiopie, Gambie, Guinée, Guinée-Bissau, Haïti, Lesotho, Libéria, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritanie, Mozambique, Niger, Nigéria, Ouganda, République centrafricaine, République démocratique du Congo, Rwanda, Sénégal, Sierra Leone, Soudan, Soudan du Sud, Tanzanie, Tchad, Togo, Yémen.

  • Countries ranked in the middle human development index category, according to the 2020 ranking:
