IBM Data Science Experience / Overview of the Watson Data Platform

Abstract:

This presentation is the first in a sequence in which software providers, commercial or not, will present software environments for data science. Such software environments go beyond single tools or languages but provide instead a common framework to facilitate the entire work flow from data access, to modeling and deployment. The IBM Data Science Experience based on the Watson Data Platform is such a software environment, and we are happy to be able to host a sessions in which its outline and features are presented.

The event will consist of two parts, a presentation from 14h30 to 15h30 in the seminar room C115 and a hands-on workshop from 16h to 17h in the computer training room C045.

Registration:

PART1:
Attendance to the presentation is open.

PART2:
Places to the hands-on workshop are very limited and priority is given to students at the LSBA.
In this workshop, the participants will go through the steps to develop a credit scoring method using a data base and to deploy it.
