"Artificial Intelligence and Chatbots: What's in there for us Statisticians?"

A B S T R A C T

The new wave of artificial intelligence is pushed by the possibility of all sorts of digitalization of the world, thus enabling better and better interactions between machines and humans. Human capacities are “augmented” by automated and more intelligent machines. In this seminar, we are going to look at some current trends in this domain, namely the usage of the chatbots in machine-human interactions, where and how the data is used for creating more AI features. One of the objectives of this talk is trying to bring some insights on how we can modernize courses delivered by a a technology platform such as SMCS using such approaches.
