DRAILS Project

Projet SHINE : CRIDES has been awarded with a grant by the European Commission (Erasmus+Jean Monnet Actions) to conduct a research in the field of the sharing economy (SHINE. SHaring Economy and INequalities across Europe). The joint initiative (Universitat de València - UV (action leader), Universitat de Barcelona, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna & Universitá Di Palermo - Facoltá Di Giurisprudenza) is going to focus on the social and economic consequences of the different models of market regulation and digital intermediation in the so-called "sharing economy", as well as on the policy responses to cope with the emerging forms of inequalities that these models are exacerbating.The activities of the SHINE Network, which will run from 2019 to 2022, will include not only academic research, but also training courses and collaboration with institutions and other economic agents, such as public administrations and technological poles in various European countries. The research team of the CRIDES specifically focus on the WP “digital discrimination in the sharing economy: pitfalls and legal design strategies for online platforms”. CRIDES researches involved in the project are Rossana Ducato, Enguerrand Marique and Alain Strowel.
